Erin M. Aiello

Erin M. Aiello

Worcester, Massachusetts

Erin was born and raised in central Connecticut. She attended the University of Hartford where she earned a Degree in Politics and Government in 2005. While studying at the University of Hartford, Erin interned with women’s rights groups, trained in Tae Kwon Do, and sold handbags at Nordstrom.

With the hopes of becoming a lobbyist on behalf of women’s issues, Erin decided to attend law school. After graduating from Roger Williams University School of Law in 2008, she took and passed the bar in Massachusetts. Erin then worked for several local attorneys, assisting them with their civil, criminal, and family law caseloads.

In 2010, Erin joined the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office as an Assistant District Attorney. Attorney Seth Aitken started with the office the same day as Erin. Both were assigned to one of the busiest courts in the Commonwealth, New Bedford District Court. Erin spent two and a half years in New Bedford, becoming a domestic violence point person for the office as well as receiving an award for her work on animal cruelty cases. During her tenure at the DA’s office, Erin served in all four courts in Bristol County and was Supervising Assistant District Attorney in the Attleboro District Court. Erin’s last years in the office were spent in the Special Victims Unit, where she worked with child victims, disabled victims, and adult sexual assault victims. Erin also continued to work with local Animal Control Officers, MSPCA, and the Animal Rescue League of Boston in prosecuting animal cruelty cases.

After six and a half years working as an Assistant District Attorney, Erin is excited to be working with Seth Aitken again and looking forward to starting a new chapter in her legal career with Aitken, Chacharone and Power.
